Well... we didn't know what direction the final season, and final episode of Peaky Blinders was going to take... There were a lot of endings I wouldn't have liked... But they did well to avoid them. An excellent series... When you watch some mediocre netflix crime drama right after Peaky - it is apparent they are on very different levels. The characters were great, writing was surprising, smart, intelligent, funny... It was on point and shot very bleaky at times... and it had a few odd stumbles in the story but I think it turned out to be a favourite. Absolutely one of the best I've seen in a while... โญโญโญโญโ

I won't get into the details, but bdot saved a friend a substantial amount of money by using AI to draft a legal sounding letter to get then out of a VERY dubious contract... It worked. I was surprised... Don't get a lot of good endings with many businesses these days.
Canada cruised to a big win over France to get top rank in the prelims... This keep them out of the first round of games, and most importantly from a date with Sweden. I know the US has a great team, but on any given night, Sweden can be giant killers...

Canadian Women advance to the Gold medal game in hockey. Albeit in very unconvincing manner. They beat the Swiss 2-1... Sure they outshot the Swiss by a big margin, but only scored a paltry two goals. I just don't think it will be anywhere near good enough to beat the US. I think today's win is the pinnacle for the ladies.
It has been a while since I've been sick. Feeling pretty ass today. Really fatigued and some serious sinus pressure. UGH. We were suppose to have friends over but one of them was also illin'. Hmpt. We did get pizza anyway however. :)
